UCML is pleased to announce the date for its Summer Plenary 2023, which will be held on Friday 14th July 2023, at the Institute of Languages, Cultures and Societies (School of Advanced Study, University of London). This will be an in-person event.
The programme for the plenary is as follows:
- 10am-12: Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Chancellor’s Hall
- 12-1pm: Lunch
- 1-2.30pm: Parallel Sessions:
- (1) Plenary Session: ‘Translation and Interpreting Studies in the UK Today: Humanistic and Economic Value of the Discipline and the Profession in an Automated World’ in Chancellor’s Hall. Speakers:
