We are delighted to announce that the following applications were successful in the second round of the UCML Small Grants Fund. We recognise that given the current public health crisis the organisation of these events may have to be rethought, but we will continue to support them should they be postponed or redesigned.
We received five applications and made awards to three projects, equating to £1800.
Peter Baker (University of Stirling)
Project: To support the international symposium ‘Processes of change in Bolivia: The legacies of ‘La Comuna’ and future pathways for Bolivian left currents’.
Nadia Altschul (University of Glasgow)
Project: To support the launch of a new e-journal, Neomedieval: Interdisciplinary Journal of Neomedievalism.
Marian Aldaz Arechaga (University of Edinburgh)
Project: To support the 2021 edition of the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival.
We wish all successful applicants every success with their projects and will be posting project reports in due course.
