Thanks to the support of the College of Business and Social Sciences at Aston University,  Learning Through Languages UK and the Centre for Language Research at Aston (CLaRA) are delighted to announce a repeat of the FREE course in Content and Language Integrated Learning (e.g. teaching geography in French, biology in Spanish, PE in German) first delivered in late May.

The new version of the 10-hour course ‘CLIL Essentials: An online introduction’ will take place between 6th and 10th July from 4 to 6p.m. It will be delivered online by internationally renowned CLIL trainers Dr Peeter Mehisto (UCL) and Tuula Asikainen (CLILedu, Summer University of Lapland).

To register for the new course, please fill in the very short questionnaire accessed through  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/J68DP9Y. This invitation is initially open to the UK residents who registered their interest in the previous iteration of the course, but did not receive a place. After a day, the course will be opened to other potential participants. Participants will be selected on a first-come-first-served basis.

As the course is also part of an action research project funded by the College of Business and Social Sciences of Aston University, feedback from the participants will be used for research purposes. Prospective participants will thus be requested to sign a research consent form prior to joining the training.
