24 August 2017: JCQ publishes data for GCSE entries for all disciplines.

Overall, numbers for languages continue to fall for French, German, and Spanish. On the other hand, entries for both Irish and Welsh have soared compared to last year’s figures (5% and 71% respectively). This year, our digest includes figures on the number of centres offering Languages at GCSE.
